Follow the movement

One step at a time.

  1. Face a wall and rest your fingertips against it.
  2. Lift one foot slightly. Keep the pelvis level and a small bend in the standing knee.
  3. Put the foot down gently, then change sides.

Ankle, hip and trunk muscles work together to keep the body steady. This is a supported balance drill, not a tree-pose demonstration.
