Changes: 27 lung surface/hilum source meshes extracted without decimation. Positions translated by (0, 0.82, -0.008) metres for approximate educational placement; normals quantized to signed 16-bit; indices converted to unsigned 32-bit; binary delivery gzip-compressed. App tissue material replaces source presentation. No new anatomical surface detail, textures or tissue layers were created. Original source metadata retained in surfaces.json records.

This is NOT anatomically registered to BodyParts3D. The two datasets represent different subjects. Overlay is approximate and may intersect; do not interpret it as patient-specific or validated geometric correspondence. Internal branches shown in this application remain separately selectable BodyParts3D meshes. HRA bronchial meshes are not duplicated in this integration.

One source record (node 16) has conflicting tissue-node name/hierarchy and bronchus label/FMA ID. Original values are retained; only its parent left lung is canonically mapped. Surface pieces are identified as source pieces pending terminology review.

No endorsement by the authors, NIH, NLM, HRA or HuBMAP is implied. BodyParts3D/Human Atlas attribution remains separately applicable.
